    Delete your Receni data

    Receni (Receni) gives you ways to remove certain data while keeping your account. This page summarizes those options for users and for store listings that require a "delete data" URL.

    Delete individual content in the app

    • Receipts: Open a receipt, then use Delete receipt to remove that item from your workspace (subject to sync and server processing).
    • Export: Under profile-related settings, Data management lets you export a copy of your data for your records before you delete items or your account.

    Request help deleting other data

    For requests that are not covered in the app (for example, correcting or erasing specific personal data we hold about you), email support@receni.com from your account email. Describe what you want removed. We will respond within a reasonable time and may ask you to verify your identity.

    What is deleted or retained

    Data you delete in the app is removed or anonymized in our systems according to the feature (for example, a deleted receipt is removed from your active data). We may retain certain information for a limited period for backups, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Data that is no longer needed for those purposes is removed on an ongoing basis.

    Deleting specific data does not delete your whole account unless you also use account deletion or ask us to close your account by email.
